Parrot Parade keeps one rule broken.
Four parrots hold their positions above a crush of hibiscus and broad tropical leaves, rendered against a flat cerise field that strips away any pretense of wild habitat. The painting borrows the grammar of old natural history illustration then deliberately breaks it, coloring one bird the same saturated rose-magenta as the blooms below it until bird and flower become one continuous argument. Saffron yellow, forest sergeant green, midnight ink blue, and that impossible pink sit in formal arrangement, not chaos. This is not nature observed. This is a committee that has already decided.

Every piece here was authored, not found. The direction, the palette, the composition, the hundreds of passes it took to get one right — those are decisions, and they are mine. AI is the instrument I make the work with, the way a camera or a synthesiser is an instrument. Then I refuse almost all of it, so what reaches you is the small fraction that survived.
