Conventional Art began in 2022 with a belief that unfamiliar visual language can become part of everyday life. We direct and select work made with computational tools, then offer the pieces that keep their force beyond the screen.

Each collection follows its own symbols, forms and feelings. The studio looks for work that changes how a room feels and still gives you something to return to.
We handle the making
The selected artwork becomes a physical object in the format and size shown on its product page. Materials and live availability are specified there before purchase.

Selection is a continuing editorial process: composition, scale and feeling must hold together as one work.

Every convention began as an interruption.
New tools rarely arrive with permission. They arrive as provocations, then become part of the visual language. The argument changes. The work remains.
We chose the name before the verdict, with enough humour to know that history rarely asks permission. The name is the wager.
We throw away most of what we make.
Our model estimates 141,161 iterations; 403 artworks are currently listed in the catalogue. The figures describe different things: exploration and released work.

An idea becomes a body of possibilities. Direction and selection give it a final form; the available physical presentations are stated on each artwork page.

Every work starts with a written or drawn premise: the feeling, structure and room it needs to hold.

The idea is run through diffusion models and the creative tool best suited to its visual language—not one fixed house recipe.

Hundreds of variations are directed, revised and compared. The volume creates options; judgment creates the work.

Release what survives
Release the selected work with its formats, dimensions and edition status clearly listed.

Endy Kahlo, eighteen years in.
Conventional Art was founded by Endy Kahlo after a career in brand identity, books, packaging, print production and art direction.
The studio is building a home for more artists who work with new instruments and bring their own judgment to the result.

Limited means one shared edition.
Each limited work belongs to one edition of 75 physical impressions worldwide, shared across sizes and formats. A Letter of Provenance and Edition Certificate is mailed separately; the print itself is not hand-numbered.

of net print profit goes to the artist. Conventional Art receives 22% for release management, fulfilment coordination and collector support. Production, shipping and direct order costs are deducted before the split.
