Chromatic Fault
The pink sand should not exist under that sky, and yet the water cuts through it like a wound that refuses to scab. Four trees stand sentinel, their canopies too green, too dense, like something rendered by a machine that never saw a real forest but memorized every photograph of one. Clouds hang flat and cotton-soft against cobalt, refusing depth. This is memory doing what memory does, saturating color until the place stops being a place and becomes a feeling you cannot name. Nature never looked this certain of itself.
