Scenic Alibi

Two white slatted chairs flank a round green bistro table on a bed of ivy, facing a flat expanse of deep saturated blue that reads as both sea and sky. Dark rocky outcrops rise symmetrically at the left and right edges, framing the view like a gate. No horizon line breaks the color, no figures occupy the chairs. The scene feels staged rather than lived in, a composed stillness that invites a seat no one has taken.
