Screens emit light; printed surfaces reflect it. Paper, canvas, ink, glazing, and the light in your room can make colour and contrast appear slightly different from a backlit display. The artwork and room previews shown here are digital renderings for comparing composition and scale. They are not photographs of finished prints.

Why this work / Floodbank Paradise

Floodbank Paradise

A crimson-flushed sky sits above an impossible garden, every root system exposed above the waterline like a botanical confession. The saffron sun burns flat and perfect against that flushed magenta atmosphere, neither rising nor setting, suspended in a moment that feels borrowed from somewhere older than memory. Banana leaves splay wide. White flower clusters press forward with the insistence of things that refuse to be background. The dark indigo water below holds the whole scene in reflection, doubling the sun into a trembling smear of amber. This is abundance painted not as comfort but as argument.

CONVENTIONAL ART / Art, unconventionally human

Borrowed Gravity works through suspended horizons, tidal colour, and landscapes held just before movement.

Spatial Intelligence

See what happens around it

Compare the work with the furniture, then notice the wall around it. These scenes illustrate placement; use the measured view above and your own wall measurements to check fit.

In the room / What to look for

The artwork image is horizontal. Compare its width with a sofa or console, and give the shorter edges room to register. Available print proportions depend on the selected variant.

From the doorway, notice the strongest light and dark areas. From your usual seat, notice the detail. Both views are part of the decision.
