Screens emit light; printed surfaces reflect it. Paper, canvas, ink, glazing, and the light in your room can make colour and contrast appear slightly different from a backlit display. The artwork and room previews shown here are digital renderings for comparing composition and scale. They are not photographs of finished prints.
See what happens around it
Compare the work with the furniture, then notice the wall around it. These scenes illustrate placement; use the measured view above and your own wall measurements to check fit.
In the room / What to look for
The artwork image is vertical. Try it within a narrow wall interval or above a compact piece of furniture; leave enough space for its height to read. Available print proportions depend on the selected variant.
From the doorway, notice the strongest light and dark areas. From your usual seat, notice the detail. Both views are part of the decision.

Tar-Dipped Ballet
Lavender veining spreads across two feet coated in a glossy black finish, set against a flat periwinkle background. One foot hangs with toes pointing downward; the other rests on its toes, heel lifted, as if caught mid-step. The dark coating breaks at the toe tips, nail beds and heel to expose bare skin beneath, creating a visible tension between painted surface and body. The marbled pattern reads like a false circulatory system, decorative rather than anatomical, turning the limbs into something between sculpture and flesh.
