Coral poppies puncture a forest floor midnight, their tissue-paper petals catching amber light against brushed olive stems. Each bloom carries the weight of spring's first argument with winter, defiant and paper-thin. The painterly strokes refuse botanical accuracy, choosing emotional truth over field guide precision.
