Bloodline Chrome
Mounted like a trophy but constructed like a confession, this sculpted cervid head refuses the logic of either category. Its surface reads as folded metal sheet: brushed platinum planes interrupted by terracotta flush along the ears and muzzle, as if raw biology keeps bleeding through the fabrication. The ribbed horns arc with the precision of architectural load-bearing curves, not grown but engineered. What looks like preservation is actually exposure. You cannot tell whether something wild was made into an object, or whether an object is trying to become something alive.
