Concrete stairs cut through volcanic dark matter, climbing toward a vertical spectrum that splits the magenta sky like a transmission from somewhere unreachable. A muted rose planet hangs precisely where the beam originates, neither rising nor setting, just witnessing. The chromatic bands, cobalt to acid green to deep lavender, do not arc the way rainbows arc. They command. Two mesa formations flank the path like sentinels that stopped caring centuries ago. This is not about arrival. This is the architecture of the decision made one step before turning back.
