Bloodtide Dark
The horizon line splits the canvas like a wound that never quite closes, black sky bleeding into a sea the color of oxidized rose and dried wine. Foam catches the last light along the wave crests, small and stubborn against all that dark water. Scattered pinpricks above could be stars or could be something else entirely, sediment suspended in a night that refuses to explain itself. This is the ocean after something happened to it, and it is not telling anyone what.
